Our History

The Uganda Football Coaches Association was formally organized on November 28, 2000 with twenty-eight members and was called the Uganda Football Coaches Association. The first big step for was in 2001, when the organization sponsored the first coaching school held in Kampala and had 65 coaches in attendance. In 2002, the association inaugurated the North and South All-Star Football Game. In 2003, the association dropped the word ""football"" from its title and opened its doors to all football coaches. This move paved the way for the addition of the All-Star football game in 2004. The association has grown from 28 members to over 20,000 making it the largest organization of its kind in Uganda. The annual coaching school boasts an attendance of nearly 13,000.

 Our Objectives

- To help maintain the highest possible standards in members and the coaching profession and to work together for the improvement of conditions of members.
- To secure a better understanding of the problems of Uganda coaching and to place at the disposal of coaches sources of information.
- To attempt to improve the football sport in all phases by aiding the coaches in securing a more thorough understanding of the various sports.
- To have a representative group of coaches to whom members problems of general interest may be referred, in hopes of creating better relationships between members.
- To promote good fellowship and social contact among coaches.
